This blog will be my attempt at evaluating something so I can improve my evaluation skills. My chosen topic is a bottle of coca-cola.
Coca-cola is one of the best soda drinks out of the vast majority of soda pops. The bottle coke comes in is very sexy looking in style. You could almost see the design of the bottle was taken from a silhouette of a voluptuous woman. You can see the curves at the top mimic the breasts of a woman. The bottom resembles a very sexy posterior end of a woman. In the middle of the bottle you can see a waist is slim enough to give definition to the top and bottom of the bottle. The actual liquid of the soda pop bites the tongue just right. The feeling of the bubbly soda going down my throat provides a happy reaction after a swallow of coke. The darkness of the soda adds to the appearance of the whole picture. If the soda pop was a different color, then I believe the appeal of coke would not be as great.
There is my brief evaluation of coca-cola. I mentioned the bottles appearance, and the feeling of drinking the soda. As for the taste, I will evaluate that piece of the pop at another date and time.

What a Weekend 09-21-2009
This past weekend I house sat for my aunt and uncle again, which is why I have not posted for the past couple of days.
There is nothing really new to report. I did, however, see the chick, Maria, from last Thursday again downstairs at the BOB. I believe she goes there after work because of the dollar drafts plus she works nearby. Also, after the comedy show at Dr. Grins, a girl came up to me and thought I was cool for attending the comedy shows every Thursday night by myself. She was very good looking. She wore a gold colored blouse and has dark black hair. She stood a few inches below me. I mean she is shorter than I am. I hope I see her again this week after the comedy show.

Remember 09-17-2009
I can not remember if I blogged yesterday or not. I'm leaning toward the, "I did not," blog side. Like I have been saying...Oh, well! My blog. Yesterday was Wednesday, which means Tuesday I gave my second speech for Toastmasters. The speech was supposed to be humorous, but I did not put forth the best effort. In other words, I did a mediocre job; however, I am proud of myself speech for a couple of reasons. First, I picked a topic and actually stuck with the subject matter, even with the thought of wanting to switch topics do to a lack of focus and me trying to find an easy way out. Another reason for taking pride in myself, is due to the fact that the speech only took about five days to complete even though I did not actually physically write out my speech. I would like to reiterate, my speech only took about five days and I signed up two weeks ago. Horray for me!!!

Another Day Gone 09-14-2009
So, yesterday I never blogged about anything. Oh, well! Since this is my blog and I set my own rules, I guess I can break them from time to time.
Tomorrow, I have to give a speech for my toastmaster's club. The speech is actually for the humorous speech contest. I am not that prepared for the event. I have my idea/topic, but I am having difficulty deciding how to tackle the subject. The speech is only five to seven minutes long. How hard can it be to come up with seven minutes of talking about one subject. I will survive and deliver something tomorrow.
Wednesday I will try to evaluate either my speech given on Tuesday, or the movie "9," which I saw last Friday.

Speech 09-12-2009
Tuesday night I have to give a humorous speech. So far, I have not even narrowed down my ideas on the topic I am planning to speak about. Procrastinating really takes a toll on myself. I will come up with a speech. How good will the speech be, is something that is to be determined on the due date. I will fill you in on how well I give the speech.

Missed 09-11-2009
Obviously I missed yesterdays blogging session. Oops! So, what have I done since my last blog? Yesterday, I went to the Thursday night comedy show and stayed at the club after the show until closing time. The place I go to has four levels of bars. The comedy club sits on the third floor. I usually stay mostly on the second floor after the show. Occasionally I manage to get myself into the dance club on the first floor to see what is going on inside, for usually on Thursday nights, there are not many people in the dance club. Instead of staying on the second floor, I went to the basement. I talked with some of the open micers and we included a few other people at the bar. There were two girls at the bar. They were sisters. After talking to one of the girls, I took my chances and gave her my name and phone number. I do not remember what I said besides saying, "I know you probably get this a lot," as I handed her the information. I do not expect any contact from her, but who knows. Perhaps, I will get lucky and at least go out once with her. Until that happens, I will keep my options open.

Evaluation 09-09-2009
Here is my attempt to evaluate something. I need to improve my evaluating skills. So, I am going to try evaluating something at least once a week in words online. Here I go!
"All About Steve," is a movie starring Sandra Bullock, Bradley Cooper, and Thomas Haden Church. The begining of the film starts out nice and simple. Here is a woman, who lives with her parents due to her apartment being fumigated. The woman designs and writes crossword problems. She is a single woman, who goes on a blind date her parents chose. She falls in love immediately with the guy and for the whole film she practically stalks the guy.
The film as a whole was fun to watch mostly because Sandra Bullock is always a wonderful joy to the eye and makes an okay film enjoyable. Sandra gets into her character and mixes in a small amount of Sandra Bullock from the first "Speed."
The story seemed to veer off into a few different directions. First the main character is telling us how life is like a crossword puzzle. Then she is all of a sudden a stalker. Eventually she gets trapped in a mine and the movie turns out to be about saving her. Last, after she is rescued from the mine she runs towards a few people she practically just met and acts like she was in love with a different guy all along.
I know this is a very choppy evaluation, but this is why I need practice. We'll try evaluating something else possibly tomorrow. I will try to be more descriptive.

Back 09-08-2009
I am blogging to let all know that I am back to blogging.
So, what has happened this past Labor Day weekend? Well, I dog sat for my aunt and uncle. On Saturday night, I was at the kitchen table surfing the web when a bat entered the house. My aunt and uncle have an enclosure for the dogs that is connected to the house in such a way as to keep the door open. The enclosure has a separate door leading to the outside, plus a doggy door. Anyway, out of nowhere a flying thing zooms into the house. It flew between the family room and kitchen. After I ran out of the kitchen into a smaller dining room, I inched back to the kitchen and saw that a bat intruded into the house. So, I tried to find what I could to try and trap the beast. I felt like I was re-enacting a scene from, "The Great Outdoors." The bat attack happened just before I left for downtown Saturday night.
Saturday night, instead of going to the BOB, I bar hopped. I visited four bars I never been to before. I drank my usual amount of alcohol, but the amount I consumed made me pretty buzz/drunk. So, I went to a hot dog place to try and sober up enough to journey back to my aunt and uncle's house. All I can say is that the food really helped.
The other thing I did this weekend was watch two movies, which were "Extract" and "All About Steve." Both films were fun to watch, but I liked "Extract" more than "All About Steve," however, I can never get enough Sandra Bullock...grrrr! Perhaps I will review the films tomorrow, as my time right now is dwindling away.

The Weekend is Up 09-03-2009
Tomorrow after work, I start house sitting for my uncle. So, that means I may or may not be able to blog for the next three to four days. I will bring my laptop with me, but we shall see if I remember to type away.
I have been thinking more about wanting to buy a house. The time for me to purchase one is not even close, but I started to at least see what is available now just to see my options. Also, this will gain me more knowledge for when I do decide to purchase a new home. If I had the money now, I would almost be ready to place a down payment on a home.
Besides a new home, I have also been thinking today about finding new avenues to increase my income. I like my job, but right now there is a pay freeze and I do not know when a raise will be in the future. So, I either have to find a part time second job, get a newer higher paying job, or really press myself to crank down and work every day to get video projects made so I can create a demo real to promote myself in order to acquire free lance work in film and video. Now that, that rant is over, have a wonderful weekend.

Meeting 09-02-2009
Tonight, I attended a township town hall meeting. The main reason for the attendence was to observe the debate about a Family Fare developmental plan. The main attendees were residents living in the tenative construction area. The main complaints about the current plan included hours of operation, a burm with ten foot trees instead of no burm and five foot trees, and the moving of a service entry for trucks. In my view, nothing seemed too detrimental to those residents lives. Alas, nobody really cares for change when in their own back yard.

Brain Dead 09-01-2009
Have any of you had one of those brain dead type of days? I'm talking about the kind of brain dead where you are at work. You are working on your various tasks. However, you just feel like you're not paying attention, or thinking about anything. Well, I had one of those days today. I felt like I was looking at a blank piece of paper all day long. I was doing my job, but didn't feel like I was doing anything at all. It must just be one of those days.
